Honey Sesame Slow Cooker Chicken

Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
3 green onions, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Pour mixture over the chicken.
3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
4. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and set aside.
5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Stir slurry into the sauce in the slow cooker to thicken.
6. Return chicken to the sauce, stir to coat, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
7. Serve chicken topped with sesame seeds and green onions.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until warmed through.
