Ingredients

2 lbs pork ribs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups sauerkraut
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp caraway seeds
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Season the ribs with salt and black pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ribs on all sides.
4. Remove the ribs and set aside.
5. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
6. Stir in chicken broth, sauerkraut, honey, apple cider vinegar, caraway seeds, and smoked paprika.
7. Return the ribs to the skillet, ensuring they are covered with the sauerkraut mixture.
8. Cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil and transfer to the oven.
9. Bake for 2 hours until the ribs are tender and infused with flavors.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a skillet over low heat or in the oven preheated to 300°F until warmed through.
