Ingredients

4 cups fresh blackberries
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine blackberries and 1/4 cup of the sugar, let it sit for 20 minutes.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Stir in the milk until smooth, then mix in the melted butter.
5. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
6. Evenly distribute the blackberries over the batter.
