Heritage Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (3/4 inch thick)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic, thyme, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
2. Place pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
4. Remove pork chops from the marinade and place them on a baking dish. Discard the marinade.
5. Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
6. Let the pork chops rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat pork chops in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
