Ingredients
4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup white wine
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Season chicken thighs with salt and black pepper on both sides.
3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
4. Add chicken thighs, skin-side down, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
5. Flip chicken thighs and cook for another 3 minutes.
6. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
7. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
8. Pour in chicken broth and white wine, stirring to deglaze the pan.
9. Stir in dried thyme and rosemary, then return chicken to the skillet, skin-side up.
10. Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
11. Remove from oven and finish by adding a pat of butter on top of each thigh.
12. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
