Herb-Infused Lemony Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cucumber, finely grated
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using a cheesecloth or paper towel.
2. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
3. Add the minced garlic, chopped dill, chopped mint, and olive oil.
4. Season with salt and pepper, stirring to combine thoroughly.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Storage
Store the tzatziki sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Tzatziki sauce is best served chilled and does not require reheating.
