Ingredients
4 lbs bone-in chicken pieces
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
3 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
3 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken
2. Combine the buttermilk with chopped parsley, rosemary, and thyme in a large bowl.
3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
4. Prepare the coating
5. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
6. Heat the oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat.
7. Coat the chicken

Reheating
To reheat, place the chicken on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
