Ingredients
1 lb fresh crab meat
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, dill, mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
2. Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.
3. Form mixture into 8 equal-sized patties.
4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
5. Cook crab cakes in batches for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
6. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
7. Serve warm with lemon wedges and your choice of sauce.
Storage
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated 350°F oven for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
