Ingredients

12 lb whole turkey
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 onion, quartered
4 cloves garlic, smashed
1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
2. Pat the turkey dry with paper towels and place it on a roasting rack inside a large roasting pan.
3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
4. Rub the herb mixture all over the turkey, under the skin, and inside the cavity.
5. Stuff the turkey cavity with orange slices, lemon slices, onion, and garlic.
6. Pour chicken broth into the roasting pan.
7. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven, basting occasionally, for about 3 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
8. Let the turkey rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.

Storage

Store leftover turkey in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

Reheating

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Place turkey slices in an oven-safe dish, cover with aluminum foil, and reheat for 20 minutes or until heated through.
