Herb & Honey Beer Bread

A unique twist on the classic beer bread featuring aromatic herbs and a hint of honey. Perfect for a quick homemade bread experience.

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp dried rosemary
1 tbsp dried thyme
1/4 cup honey
12 oz lager beer
2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, rosemary, and thyme.
3. Stir in the honey and beer until just blended. Do not overmix.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and drizzle melted butter on top.
5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Wrap in foil and reheat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes.
