Hearty Slow Cooked Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients

5 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and diced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Lightly grease the inside of a slow cooker.
2. In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until the potatoes are well-coated.
4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared slow cooker.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.
6. Stir the mixture occasionally to ensure even cooking.
7. Once cooked, serve hot and enjoy.
