Ingredients
4 pork chops (
1 inch thick)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 bay leaf
Instructions
1. Dredge the pork chops in flour, salt, and pepper mixture.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the pork chops on both sides.
3. Transfer the pork chops to a slow cooker.
4. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, sauté until onions are translucent.
5. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaf. Bring to a simmer.
6. Pour the sauce over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours until pork is tender.
8. Remove bay leaf before serving.
Storage
Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through or in the microwave on medium power.
