Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup whole milk

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the banana mixture and mix just until combined.
5. Fold in the walnuts.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
7. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
