Ingredients

16 oz elbow macaroni
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
4 oz Gruyère cheese, shredded
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp truffle oil
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux.
4. Gradually whisk in milk and cream, cooking until thickened.
5. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and Gruyère cheeses until melted and smooth.
6. Mix in truffle oil, salt, and pepper.
7. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and pour into a greased baking dish.
8. Top with panko bread crumbs and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Storage
