Golden Dinner Rolls

These golden dinner rolls are the perfect complement to any meal. Fluffy, light, and with a hint of buttery sweetness, they are sure to be a hit at your dining table.

Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm milk
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
Additional butter for brushing

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
2. Add warm milk, warm water, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the remaining flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 15 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a greased baking pan.
7. Cover and let rise again until doubled, about 30-45 minutes.
8. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
9. Bake the rolls for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
10. Brush with additional melted butter and serve warm.

Storage

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Reheating

To reheat, wrap rolls in aluminum foil and place in a preheated 350°F oven for 10 minutes, or microwave for 10-15 seconds each.
