Golden Chicken Cordon Casserole

Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz sliced ham
8 oz Swiss cheese slices
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups breadcrumbs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Layer chicken in the prepared dish.
3. Top the chicken with sliced ham, followed by Swiss cheese slices.
4. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and flour until smooth. Pour evenly over the chicken, ham, and cheese.
5. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
7. Allow the casserole to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Storage
Store leftover casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, cover the casserole with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
