Ingredients
5 cups sliced apples
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon chai spice blend
1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, water, and vanilla extract. Mix well until the apples are evenly coated.
3. Transfer the apple mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
4. In another bowl, prepare the topping by mixing rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground ginger, chai spice blend, and unsalted butter until crumbly.
5. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store the apple crisp in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

To reheat, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), place the apple crisp in an oven-safe dish, and heat for about 15-20 minutes, or until warmed through.
