Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 lemon, zested
Instructions
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine.
6. Stir in the red pepper flakes, lemon zest, and parsley.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of cream or water if needed to loosen the sauce.
