Ingredients
1 lb asparagus spears
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Trim the tough ends off the asparagus spears and discard.
3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Toss the asparagus in the garlic mixture until evenly coated.
5. Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
6. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
7. Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
8. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
