Garlic Butter Shrimp with Linguine

Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 oz linguine
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes per side.
4. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired, then serve hot.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheating
Reheat gently in a skillet over medium-low heat, adding a splash of water or broth to loosen the sauce.
