Fiesta Seafood Paella

Delight in our Fiesta Seafood Paella, an original spin on the classic Spanish dish, featuring a medley of fresh seafood and vibrant vegetables, perfect for seafood lovers and festive gatherings.

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp
1 lb mussels
1 lb clams
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups Arborio rice
4 cups seafood broth
1/2 cup white wine
1 tsp saffron threads
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 cup frozen peas
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large paella pan over medium heat.
2. Add onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper; sauté until softened.
3. Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Add Arborio rice and cook, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes to toast the rice.
5. Pour in white wine and let it simmer until mostly evaporated.
6. Stir in seafood broth, saffron threads, and smoked paprika.
7. Arrange shrimp, mussels, and clams on top of the rice, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
8. Add frozen peas, cover, and cook until seafood is cooked and rice is tender, about 5 minutes more.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges before serving.

Storage

Store leftover paella in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

Reheat paella in a skillet over medium heat until thoroughly warmed, adding a splash of broth if needed.
