Easiest-ever Citrus Bread Pudding

Ingredients
8 cups day-old bread cubes
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp orange zest
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/2 cup raisins
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar, and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, orange zest, lemon zest, and salt to the milk mixture, and whisk until well combined.
4. Place the bread cubes in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the raisins evenly over the top.
5. Pour the milk mixture over the bread cubes, pressing down gently to ensure the bread absorbs the liquid.
6. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the pudding.
7. Let the mixture stand for about 15 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the custard.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
9. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, cover with foil and warm in a 300°F oven (150°C) for about 15 minutes or until heated through.
