Ingredients
8 oz dark chocolate
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
2. Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, salt, and vanilla extract.
4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until fully incorporated and batter is smooth.
5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 25 minutes or until the top has formed a thin crust.
7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to cool completely.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat individual slices in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or serve at room temperature.
