Decadent Double Chocolate Pudding Pie

A rich and creamy chocolate pudding pie with a luscious layer of dark chocolate and a crispy graham cracker crust, perfect for satisfying your dessert cravings.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
6 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups of whole milk
1/2 cup of heavy cream
3/4 cup of granulated sugar
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp of cornstarch
1/4 tsp of salt
3/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 cup of whipped cream for topping
Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
5. In a medium saucepan, combine whole milk, heavy cream, 3/4 cup sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
6. Whisk continuously over medium heat until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble.
7. Remove from heat and stir in dark chocolate chips and vanilla extract until smooth.
8. Pour the chocolate pudding into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
9. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
10. Before serving, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat individual slices in the microwave on a low setting for 30 seconds, if desired. However, best served chilled.
