Creamy Garden Spinach Dip

A delightful blend of fresh spinach and creamy cheeses, this dip is perfect for gatherings and sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup chopped yellow onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
10 oz fresh spinach, chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until onions are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 3 minutes.
4. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
5. Add the cooked spinach mixture to the bowl and stir until well combined.
6. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
9. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.

Storage

Store leftover spinach dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in the microwave on medium power for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway through, until heated evenly.
