Creamy Chicken Marsala with Mushrooms

Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Marsala wine
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness.
2. Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
3. Dredge chicken in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
4. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
6. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté mushrooms until browned.
7. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
8. Pour in Marsala wine and chicken stock, scraping up browned bits.
9. Simmer for 5 minutes until liquid reduces by half.
10. Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet.
11. Simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce is thickened.
12. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat gently in a skillet over medium-low heat until warmed through.
