Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
3/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp orange zest
1 large egg
1 cup fresh cranberries, halved
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the orange juice, vegetable oil, orange zest, and egg, mixing well.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
5. Gently fold in the cranberries and walnuts.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Storage

Store wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, slice and warm in a toaster oven or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
