Ingredients
12 oz fresh cranberries
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp orange zest
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Rinse the cranberries thoroughly and discard any that are soft or damaged.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine orange juice, water, and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Add cranberries, orange zest, grated ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
4. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberries have burst and sauce thickens.
5. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
6. Transfer to a serving dish or airtight container for storage.
Storage
