Coconut Ladoo
Coconut Ladoo are delightful Indian sweets, perfect for coconut enthusiasts. Made with freshly grated coconut and sweetened condensed milk, these melt-in-your-mouth treats are easy to prepare and ideal for any occasion.

Ingredients
2 cups freshly grated coconut
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 tablespoon ghee
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 cup desiccated coconut for rolling
Instructions
1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add ghee.
2. Add the freshly grated coconut and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
3. Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and mix well.
4. Continue to cook the mixture on low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens.
5. Add cardamom powder and mix thoroughly.
6. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
7. Grease your palms with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small balls.
8. Roll each ball in desiccated coconut to coat evenly.
9. If using nuts, push a few pieces into each ladoo.
10. Allow to cool completely before serving or storing.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Reheating
Serve at room temperature, or allow them to come to room temperature after removing from the refrigerator. No reheating necessary.
