Classic Tuna Casserole

A comforting and hearty Classic Tuna Casserole made with tender pasta, rich and creamy sauce, and flavorful tuna, perfect for a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients

12 oz egg noodles
2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crushed potato chips
1/4 cup chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
5. Sprinkle crushed potato chips over the top of the casserole.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
