Classic Potato Salad

A timeless potato salad featuring tender potatoes, crunchy celery, and a creamy dressing, perfect for picnics and family gatherings.

Ingredients

3 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp yellow mustard
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup dill pickles, diced
2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Peel and cube potatoes, then place them in a large pot of cold, salted water.
2. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender, about 10-15 minutes.
3. Drain potatoes and let cool slightly.
4. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, and apple cider vinegar.
5. Add cooled potatoes, celery, red onion, dill pickles, and fresh dill to the dressing.
6. Stir gently to combine, ensuring all ingredients are evenly coated.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Serve chilled; do not reheat.
