Classic Pea Salad

Ingredients

2 lbs frozen green peas (thawed)
1/2 cup diced red onion
1 cup diced cheddar cheese
1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine thawed green peas, diced red onion, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, and honey until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and gently toss to combine.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Serve cold, no reheating required.
