Classic Meatloaf

Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup ketchup

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and shape into a loaf.
4. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the loaf.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until cooked through and no longer pink inside.
6. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Storage

Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and warm the slices for about 15 minutes, or microwave on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
