Classic Meatballs

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 large eggs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper.
3. Add the milk and mix well until all ingredients are combined.
4. Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs.
5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
6. Brown the meatballs in batches, turning to ensure all sides are browned, about 5 minutes per batch.
7. Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
9. Serve with your favorite pasta and sauce.

Storage

Store cooked meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
