Classic Icebox Cake

A delightful no-bake dessert that layers crisp cookies with rich whipped cream for a chilled treat that pleases every palate.

Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 package (14 oz) chocolate wafer cookies

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
2. On a flat serving plate, arrange a single layer of chocolate wafer cookies in a circular pattern.
3. Spread a generous layer of whipped cream over the cookies.
4. Repeat the layers until all cookies and cream are used, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.
5. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
6. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or fresh berries, if desired.

Storage

Store the icebox cake in the refrigerator, covered with plastic wrap, for up to 3 days.

Reheating

This dessert is served cold and should not be reheated.
