Classic Cranberry Orange Relish

Ingredients

12 oz fresh cranberries
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp orange zest
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup water

Instructions

1. Rinse the cranberries under cold water and drain.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon, and water.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
5. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

To reheat, warm gently in a saucepan over low heat until heated through, or microwave on medium power, stirring every 30 seconds.
