Classic Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless
8 oz fettuccine pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp unsalted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, season chicken breast with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, add chicken, and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and let rest, then slice.
3. In the same pan, add butter and garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream, bringing to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
5. Return sliced chicken to the pan and toss with the cooked fettuccine, ensuring even coating of the sauce.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat gently in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk to maintain creaminess.
