Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
1/2 lb ground chicken
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp ginger, grated
3 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix flour with water to form a dough. Knead until smooth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
2. In another bowl, combine ground chicken, lemon zest, cilantro, parsley, garlic, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and ginger.
3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut it into circles.
4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each circle and fold to seal the edges.
5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
6. Fry the dumplings until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
7. Serve hot with a side of soy sauce or your preferred dipping sauce.
Storage
Store leftover dumplings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat dumplings in a skillet over low heat until warmed through, or steam for about 5 minutes.
