Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and stir in sugar until smooth.
3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually blend into the butter mixture.
5. Fold in chocolate chunks and walnuts (if using).
6. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan.
8. Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Storage
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

To reheat, place a brownie on a microwave-safe plate and heat for 10-15 seconds at medium power until warm.
