Chicken A La Queen is a delightful twist on the classic dish with a rich, creamy sauce and tender chunks of chicken, enhanced with a medley of colorful vegetables for a royal feast.

Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add chicken cubes and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add mushrooms, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Sauté until tender, about 4 minutes.
5. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
6. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
7. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and dry sherry.
8. Return chicken to the skillet and add peas, salt, and black pepper.
9. Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat gently in a skillet over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until heated through.
