Ingredients
1 lb lump crab meat
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter for frying
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and beaten egg.
2. Gently fold in the crab meat, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties.
4. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
5. Fry the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and heated through.
6. Remove from skillet and let drain on paper towels before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated 350°F oven for 10 minutes or until heated through.
