Ingredients
1 lb ziti pasta
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup canned artichoke hearts, chopped
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions; drain.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
4. Add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
5. Stir in spinach and chopped artichoke hearts, cook until spinach wilts.
6. In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, and the spinach-artichoke mixture.
7. Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes; mix well.
8. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
9. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
11. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place in an oven-safe dish and heat at 350°F until warmed through, about 15-20 minutes.
