Cheesy Jalapeño Pigs in a Blanket

Deliciously spicy and cheesy pigs in a blanket featuring jalapeños and cheddar for a modern twist on the classic appetizer.

Ingredients

1 lb cocktail sausages
1 tube crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp poppy seeds

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
3. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over each triangle.
4. Place a sausage and a few jalapeño slices on the wide end of each triangle.
5. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, to enclose the sausage and jalapeños.
6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Preheat oven to 300°F and bake for 5-7 minutes or until heated through.
