Cheesy Jalapeño Bites

Deliciously spicy Cheesy Jalapeño Bites that bring a fiery twist to your appetizer spread. Perfect for parties, these bites are loaded with cheese and just the right amount of heat.

Ingredients

6 fresh jalapeño peppers
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
4. Dredge each filled jalapeño in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry the jalapeño bites in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
7. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until warmed through.
