Caramel Pecan Banana Bread

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup caramel sauce
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Mix in the melted butter.
3. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
4. Stir in the caramel sauce.
5. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the banana mixture.
6. Fold in the chopped pecans.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Reheating

Reheat slices in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or enjoy at room temperature.
