Caprese Salad Skewers

Caprese Salad Skewers are a delightful and refreshing appetizer that combines the classic flavors of Italy. These skewers feature juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella balls, and aromatic fresh basil leaves, all elegantly threaded on skewers and finished with a drizzle of sweet balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

20 cherry tomatoes
20 mozzarella balls
20 fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup balsamic glaze
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
10 wooden skewers

Instructions

1. Prepare the ingredients by rinsing the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
2. Drain the mozzarella balls and pat them dry with a paper towel.
3. Begin assembling the skewers by threading a cherry tomato, a mozzarella ball, and a basil leaf onto a wooden skewer. Repeat the process so each skewer has two sets of tomato, mozzarella, and basil.
4. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter and lightly season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the skewers just before serving for added flavor.

Storage

Store any leftover skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

These skewers are best served fresh and are not recommended for reheating.
