Caprese Pasta Salad

A delightful Caprese Pasta Salad that combines the fresh flavors of ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil with al dente pasta and a luscious balsamic reduction.

Ingredients

8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
8 oz fresh mozzarella balls, halved
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
1/4 cup balsamic reduction
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
2. In a large bowl, combine the pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss gently to combine.
4. Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the salad just before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Enjoy cold or at room temperature. Not recommended for reheating.
