Braised Cabbage Delight

Ingredients

1 medium green cabbage (about 2 lbs)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup vegetable broth
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp caraway seeds
1 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

1. Core and thinly slice the cabbage.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
5. Add sliced cabbage to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
6. Pour in vegetable broth and apple cider vinegar, stirring to combine.
7. Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage is tender.
8. Stir in caraway seeds and butter, and cook until butter is melted.
9. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve warm.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave until warmed through.
