BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

These BBQ pulled pork sliders are the perfect handheld snack for sports fans. Slow-cooked to perfection and topped with tangy coleslaw, they pack flavor into every bite-sized piece.

Ingredients

3 lbs pork shoulder
2 cups BBQ sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
12 slider buns
2 cups coleslaw
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
2. Rub the spice mix all over the pork shoulder.
3. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and pour 1 cup of BBQ sauce over the top.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and shreds easily with a fork.
5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred using two forks.
6. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir in the remaining BBQ sauce.
7. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar to make the coleslaw dressing.
8. Mix the dressing with the coleslaw until well combined.
9. To assemble the sliders, place a generous amount of pulled pork on the bottom half of each slider bun.
10. Top with a scoop of coleslaw and place the other half of the bun on top.

Storage

Store leftover pulled pork and coleslaw separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat the pulled pork in a saucepan over low heat until warmed through, or microwave on medium power in 30-second increments. Serve with fresh coleslaw.
