Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
4 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup whole milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
4. Stir in milk until well combined.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, folding gently until just combined.
7. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
